Excellent stuff as usual, Scott. It was very cool to get some insights from Nate Shapiro and to get more into the weeds of CLOVERS. I have some comments I would like to make on this: 1) Mandate – no, Guidance – yes: I am almost uniformly opposed to governmental mandates in medicine, and this would include the current 30 mL/kg requirement. These mandates, in general, tend to put too much focus on the wrong aspects (financial) of care and doesn’t do enough to consider the collateral impacts on non-cases, for example.
