I did 2/3 of a palliative care program at UW during COVID and was virtual then unfortunately it was necessary to attend UW classes. But this education did change my approach to these conversations with patients and families both in the critically ill and those being hospitalized and even those going home. Definitely feel the ED is a great place to have these conversations for so many different reasons.
