Great video from Dr. Paul Marik!!! Is good to see a great name from critical care medicine, like Dr. Marik, in a socratic way, show to us unclear points, treated as absolute trues… Process, Arise and Promise trials are gold, Surviving Sepsis is red herring.

Marik is the Chomsky of critical care, speaking truth to power!
As a resident who works in a world where a lot of the consultants up until recently still focused on EGDT, and still are driven by SCC and bundles for sepsis, this is a great summary. Illustrates how easily we can be seduced by studies and the “do what the big names are doing” model. (note I haven’t done my own research to actually confirm this “big name” talk. Great lecture.
