I can imagine the patient reaction if previously he was affected by vertigo…..
seven years later, i agree with Chris. i would not have been surprised if the poor woman up and slapped him. also, it might be a way of cleaning the plaques off the carotid circulation, or a thrombus from a carotid or vestibular dissection.
but an excellent review of a common , often difficult differential challenge. as always, thank you, scott
I’ll be adding this to my prehospital vertigo and neuro assessments. The video is super helpful to clarify exactly how to perform these assessments and what to look for. Thanks
