EMCrit do you have any idea who these GRM guys actually are?
Try not letting your audience down next time. We might as well be getting some Flat earth theorists to tell us about physics.
Garbage in, garbage out.
K Johnson- Not sure what your complaint is with our work, but we are happy to address any concerns you may have. Info@global-response.org
These guys are known liars heck they openly admitted it in a interview I quote ” we lie to save lives“. These thrill seekers and war tourists have no place in a trusted podcast in forum such as this. And there is no way on gods green earth they treated over 10,000 patients. I have spoken with people who have seen their work firsthand and they were killing their patients because they did not have the adequate credentials for training to do half the work that they were doing.
Hi Byron- I see you also work for GSMSG? Interesting that these comments all seem to be coming from GSMGSM volunteers…I don’t have any record of working with you guys and I don’t remember you guys participating in any of the Trauma Working Groups held by the W.H.O while we were in Mosul. (Maybe I missed you guys at the meetings). Either way, as mentioned to your friends- our providers are licensed and credentialed in accordance with WHO policy and follow the scope of practice of the license under which they work. They have to be credentialed and experienced (we… Read more »
SMH – Letting you’re audience down EMCrit. The GRM group are known frauds. If the one you interviewed actually had those credentials and they didn’t come from University of Phoenix online, then she is by far the most qualified person in that group.
Do your homework next time and don’t let presentations like this pollute the (usual) high quality of your guests. . . .
10,000 patients?? Really?? Did they even lay eyes on 10,000 people? Ugh SMH
Hi Dave- I went to Georgetown for my Masters and University of Arkansas for my Bachelors, served 5 years on active duty with the Army and then went to the reserves. Are we really resorting to personal attacks? Seeing as I’ve never met you, I’m not sure exactly what your complaint is (other than questioning where my degrees came from). Also happy to address why you think we are “frauds”… again… never worked with you so not sure. Feel free to email us at info@global-response.org and we can discuss.
Also… looks like you also have ties to GSMSG? interesting…
Hi Mike- I’m not exactly sure what situation you are referring to, or what medical system you worked with inside Mosul, but we are happy to discuss any concerns you may have. It looks like you may work/volunteer for GSMSG? We’ve never worked with them, or referred patients to their operations. Feel free to email us at info@global-response.org and we’ll get you in touch with the appropriate person. As to your comment that we need to “get credentialed”. Our TSPs utilized approximately 50 volunteer staff (14 paramedics, 3 MDs, 2 PAs, 6RNs, 5 non-medical staff along with 13 medical staff… Read more »
Hi John- The scope of practice that our providers follow is dictated by their license, our current SOPs and in accordance with the W.H.O review. Our Medical Director is John Quinn, an MD currently working at the Prague Center for Global Health. If you have a report of one of our volunteers working outside their scope of practice, we are happy to review the incident (although I’m not sure why you wouldnt have reported this in Mosul some years ago..?). Please email us at info@global-response.org with details of the event and we will immediately review the incident.
Wow- Sad to see the ugly side of humanitarian work in these comments. For anyone who reads through the thread- you’ll see a common theme- vague remarks, personal attacks, and an anecdotal smear campaign, mostly from people who appear to all work or be connected to the same organization (who we have never worked with or alongside). For anyone whose truly interested in our work- feel free to check out our website global-response.org If you look under the tag “financials” you can see our 990 tax information which details our work over the past few years. If you’ve got questions,… Read more »
