Great Wee Scott. I genuinely believe this hype is justified.
SMACC will be the best conference EVER.

Hope to see as many people of possible make the trip over from the USA – we”ll make sure it’s worth it… See you at SMACC!

Can’t wait to see how Americans and Brits perform in SimWars when they are upside-down 🙂
Not to nitpick or anything, but I’ve got an abstract that is accepted and that will go thru the video presentation route, since I can’t make it to Sidney, and my understanding was that registration was mandatory. That’s what the acceptance email says and I didn’t see anything on the registration section about free registration for presenters that won’t physically be there.
Again, I don’t mind contributing to the cost of such an undertaking, but what you say in the wee isn’t exactly right.
Mathias,
I believe one of the conference organizers wrote back personally, but the clarification is Digital Posters are free; video presentations require registration. So anyone who submitted a poster, but can’t attend should submit as a digital poster. I am happy to host any of the videos made or that any will make here on EMCrit.
Yes, thanks for making things clearer.
